The Office of Child & Youth Protection exists to assist Diocese of Tulsa Parishes and Schools with compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.

Bishop David Konderla states in his promulgation letter: Our children, youth, and vulnerable adults are treasures to the Church, and as such the Diocese of Tulsa has a sacred obligation to protect them. In compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People issued by the USCCB, the Diocese of Tulsa continues to make every effort to ensure it employs the best practices in establishing a safe environment throughout the diocese.
